There is no league in the world with more key players representing the United States men's national team than the Bundesliga in Germany. While Major League Soccer has its fair share of domestic players, many of the top American players find their way to Germany at one point or another. From Landon Donovan to Christian Pulisic and the bevy of talent currently there, watching the Bundesliga means seeing American players regularly.

There are currently more than 30 Americans at Bundesliga clubs, though some are youth prospects like Chris Richards, Taylor Booth and Justin Butler at Bayern Munich.

With action set to get underway on Saturday, here are the five American players to watch.

So who should you back in the Bundesliga on Matchweek 26? And where does all the betting value lie? Visit SportsLine now to find out which side of the money line has all the value in every Bundesliga match, all from the proprietary European soccer model that's up an eye-popping 13,800 percent.

1. Gio Reyna, Borussia Dortmund

The single most exciting prospect in U.S. Soccer since Pulisic, Reyna has quickly climbed the ranks at Dortmund where young players are always given chances to shine. The son of USMNT legend Claudio Reyna, the attacking midfielder was with NYCFC as a youth player before moving to Dortmund last year. He's played 11 times for Dortmund and scored a dashing goal in a German Cup match. He's even gotten on the pitch in Champions League matches.

He's as special of a prospect as we've seen for the U.S. in recent years.

2. Weston McKennie, Schalke

Weston McKennie may just be 21 years old, but he's got a whole bunch of experience with 83 games under his belt. A talented box-to-box midfielder who has the potential to push higher or play more as a central defensive mid, he's scored in the Bundesliga and the Champions League. He's a favorite of manager David Wagner and has Premier League clubs interested in his services.

McKennie has played a big part in Schalke's bounce-back season with his crunching tackles. and he's a fun one to watch because he likes to do the dirty work in recovering the ball for his team to then spring forward. He's the most consistent, established American midfielder in Germany at the moment.

3. Tyler Adams, RB Leipzig

Despite dealing with injury issues, Tyler Adams is in a great spot at RB Leipzig. He's seen the field in all competitions and is filled with potential. He's got 13 appearances for the club and is hoping to push to be a regular starter before long. While USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter plays him at right back, he plays his natural position of defensive midfielder for his club. A mainstay in the USMNT for years to come, he's got a chance to play in some huge games down the stretch as long as he stays healthy.

4. Josh Sargent, Werder Bremen

This is the most intriguing one in the sense of what opportunities may be ahead. Sargent is at a proud club like Bremen that is actually going through one of its worst seasons in recent years. If the league were to end today, they'd be sent down to the second division. That means for the last 10 games of the season, they are going to need to find some victories to avoid being relegated. Sargent should get his chance to be that scorer that they crave to get those results. He'll have to prove it in practice and earn minutes on the field, but if he can get a goal or two early on when the season resumes, he'll be earning himself more minutes for the stretch run. There's a chance to become a club hero and save his team from relegation.

5. Zack Steffen, Fortuna Dusseldorf

The oldest on the list at just 25 years of age, the Fortuna goalkeeper is the regular starter for the club while on loan from Manchester City. He's still out with an MCL injury but could return at the end of May or early June. Steffen is the top USMNT goalkeeper and has cat-like reflexes, and he's also earning huge minutes that could help him become the City backup goalkeeper behind Ederson potentially next season.

Playing for a relegation-threatened club like Fortuna, he stays busy in most matches with a not-so-hot defense in front of him. Because of that, he gets tested often which is only good for his progression as a player. He'll be needed big time if his club is to stay in the German top flight.
